Dr. Alyssa Avila is a Seattle transplant from Los Angeles, California. Her passion for sports rehabilitation and health care started from her involvement with team sports growing up. Through rehabing her own injuries with her Chiropractor, she developed a love for Chiropractic and what it has to offer. She received her Bachelors in Exercise Science from Lake Superior State University where she played DII Softball. She then pursued her education at Palmer College of Chiropractic-West where she received her Chiropractic Degree. During her time at PCCW, she spent time with Sports Council, Motion Palpation Institute and Rehab 2 Performance clubs which allowed her to get involved with the community and help teach other students various rehabilitation and treatment techniques. Dr. Avila is trained in Functional Range Conditioning (FRCms), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys playing sports, playing guitar, fishing, and traveling!
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest! Dr. Torgison completed her Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science Degree at the University of Northern Colorado. During her undergraduate studies, Nitosha split her time between the Oncology Department as a Cancer Exercise Specialist and working alongside the strength and conditioning coaches helping with athletes in the weight room. Dr. Torgison graduated and traveled out to California to achieve her Doctorate in Chiropractic at Palmer West to further her passion in all things pain and performance.
It was during her time at Palmer West that Dr. Torgison really transitioned into olympic weightlifting to remain training hard and fulfilling her competitive edge. Dr. Torgison is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning
Specialist. As she spent her time outside of class with other strength sport athletes, coaching general strength and conditioning classes at her gym, and olympic weightlifting to fulfill her own competitive edge. She also is an avid weekend outdoor enthusiast who loves to hike, camp, surf, snowboard, and explore all the seasons. Dr. Torgison’s ultimate goal is to educate and empower her clients to live life to their full potential and build resiliency in and out of the gym.
Molly is a small-town girl from Missouri with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the University of Mississippi (Hotty Toddy). Dr. Sparks then moved to the west coast to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic, west campus in San Jose, California. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, crossfit, running, sewing, snowboarding and playing with her puppies Castor and Pollux. You can find Dr. Sparks at all the Women’s Wealth and Wellness events, giving back to her community and supporting other small businesses.
While pursuing her chiropractic degree, Dr. Sparks had a large involvement in her school as Events Coordinator for the Palmer Sports Council and spent many hours teaching technique at the Women’s Chiropractic Club. To continue sharing her passion for the chiropractic field and helping others, Dr. Sparks travels to Piedras Negras, Mexico to volunteer treatment to local medical schools, special needs schools and with inner-city youth once a year.
In conjunction with her chiropractic education, Dr. Sparks also holds additional certifications in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Rock Tape functional and performance kinesiology tape (FMT4 certification), Pattern Functional Adjusting: upper and lower extremity, and Motion Palpation Institute (MPI) – Thoracic Spine.
Dr. Patrick Engracia is originally from the suburbs of Chicago. He discovered exercise rehabilitation at his very first job as a rehab tech when he was 15 years old and has hasn’t stopped since. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a degree in Kinesiology. He then went on to National University of Health Sciences where he continued to develop his focus on rehab and soft tissue techniques. Dr. Engracia specializes in exercise rehabilitation and is passionate about helping athletes find happiness through movement. When not in the clinic, you can find Dr. Patrick rock climbing, backpacking, and mountain biking.
Dr. Ilan Green is from the SF Bay Area. He received a BS in Kinesiology with a focus on Exercise Science from California State University, Northridge. He also obtained a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, CA. His mother is a chiropractor, as a multi-sport athlete growing up he always found himself being treated by her which he believed helped him recover from injuries and stay in the game once he returned to play. She had a big impact on the way Ilan viewed health and wellness, so when it came time to decide which career he wanted to pursue it felt like a natural choice. He loves having a career that focuses around helping people get out of pain and get back to doing what they love to do most. Outside of work Ilan enjoys playing recreational sports, hiking, traveling and exploring the PNW.
Kayla is born and raised in Washington state. After spending a few years working in the corporate side of wealth management, she switched directions to pursue her career as a professional Triathlete. When she is not training, Kayla works at Helix on the marketing side as well as spending some time in the office on the rehab floor. As an athlete growing up with constant injuries from racing, she developed a passion to understand body mechanics and understanding injury prevention as well.
Carlynn grew up in a small town in Eastern Washington. She was a year around athlete with her passion being basketball. Once graduating High School she moved to the Seattle area to attend Evergreen Beauty College where she graduated with her Cosmetology Certification.
In my spare time I enjoy hiking, swimming, exploring the city and spending time with my family and friends.
Eventually, in my spare time I want to give back to my community by coaching basketball to young players.
Dr. Holleran is originally from Chester Springs, PA, a small town outside of Philadelphia. She attended the University of Pittsburgh where she graduated with a BS in Emergency Medicine and obtained her paramedic license in PA. Dr. Holleran then moved to California to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose. While in school, Dr. Holleran stayed busy participating in Palmer West’s Sports Council and soon took over as President of the organization. Growing up Dr. Holleran loved playing volleyball and lacrosse so treating an active and athletic population has always been her primary goal. When not in the office Dr. Holleran enjoys lifting, hiking, traveling, reading, and going wine tasting!
Morgan just recently uprooted from her city life in Indianapolis, IN with full intentions to further her education in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine. Graduating from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, she focused her undergraduate studies in Medical Humanities and Health Science. Because of her huge interest in culture and holistic/natural medicine, she also received minors in Medical Sociology and Religious Studies.
She is a firm believer that learning is best accomplished by doing. Immersing herself in the practices that have changed her life for the better has continued to shed light on her journey of holistic healing. She has a standing reputation for putting herself in the shoes of others, which allows her to offer both emotional and social support—something she believes is key in building strong doctor-patient relationships. That being said, she genuinely cherishes her time volunteering with Kindred Hospice patients and HIV/AIDS organizations. Learning ways to assist patients and families with grief and loss has been an enlightening and humbling experience for her. She admires the steps many are taking to collectively better the health of the surrounding Seattle area and hopes to spread that knowledge and educate those who are seeking alternative healing methodologies.
In her free time, she loves traveling to find new camping spots and going on outdoor adventures with her boyfriend and their chocolate pointing lab, Raynee. In the summertime you can also find her playing in the garden or in the kitchen, listening to music and cooking up an organic feast with her favorite people.
Hailey graduated from Bastyr University with her Bachelors in Nutrition and Exercise Science. She first fell in love with fitness when her brother introduced her to weight lifting. It was then Hailey knew that she wanted to help other people feel stronger and more confident in their own bodies. She pursued a career in personal training, became certified through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), and quickly fell in love with helping others. With her experience working one-on-one with clients, it became a natural progression to want to aid people even further and help patients get past their limitations and injuries.
In her free time, Hailey loves reading a good book, working out at the gym, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Originally from West Virginia, he attended Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania where he graduated with a degree in Athletic Training. After undergrad he furthered his education in the sports medicine field, attending West Virginia University and graduating with a Master’s degree in Athletic Training.
He went on to work seven years in Division II athletics for Seton Hill University in Pittsburgh, PA. As an assistant athletic trainer working with the volleyball, wrestling, and lacrosse teams, he would perform injury prevention, evaluation, treatment/rehabilitation, and performance training. Outside of work, he is passionate about learning practices to help optimize the human experience. Some of his favorite practices include exercise, breath work, meditation, playing sports, and being outdoors. In January 2019 he made the move west for more nature, better work-life balance, and to be closer to his younger sister. He is excited to be part of the Helix family and help our patients optimize!
Erin grew up in a small town outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She attended Slippery Rock University where she received her B.S. degree with a major in Athletic Training and a minor in Adapted Physical Activity. Erin decided to further her education by obtaining her M.S. in Athletic Training from California University of Pennsylvania. Her previous experience includes working as a Certified Athletic Trainer with various high school, college, and professional athletes providing medical care to athletic teams by providing injury prevention, evaluation, and treatment/rehabilitation. Erin found her passion in helping all active individuals learn how to take care of their bodies to live their best life. She relocated to the Pacific Northwest in 2015 where she began providing injury prevention and symptom intervention services to airplane mechanics and electric meter installers. In her career, Erin has gained multiple certifications which include Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist, NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist, and Certified Early Intervention Specialist to name a few. In her free time, you can catch Erin teaching kickboxing classes, skiing, playing volleyball and softball or curled up with a good book.
Growing up on the Eastside, Thomas enjoyed an active childhood playing soccer, water polo, and snowboarding. His love of sports and fitness guided him to pursue a degree in Kinesiology at Western Washington University, accreditation as a personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise, and completion of the Muscle Activation Techniques Specialist program in Denver, CO.
Thomas currently serves as Manager of Rehabilitative Exercise with Sport + Spine. Outside of the clinic, Thomas coaches high school water polo with Rain City Water Polo and USA Water Polo’s Olympic Development Program. He lives in Capitol Hill with his girlfriend, dog, and cat and can be found at Century Link supporting the Sounders and Seahawks!
Dr. Price grew up in Spokane and graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science before being accepted to Palmer College of Chiropractic, West Campus, in San Jose. During his time at Palmer, Dr. Price became an active member of the Palmer West Sports Council and provided care at the Susan G. Komen Walk for a Cure, the Sea Otter Classic, Ultimate Frisbee Tournaments, and a variety of other South Bay events. He also spent two seasons working directly with the SJSU Men’s Rugby Team providing on-site treatment at games. Since moving back to the Pacific Northwest, he has engaged himself in the community by providing care at Jet City Derby Bouts, local CrossFit Competitions, and various triathlons around the greater Seattle area.
Dr. Brandon Price believes in evidence based chiropractic care and utilizes various techniques including joint manipulation, soft tissue therapies, and therapeutic exercises as part of his patients’ treatment. He is “Full-Body Certified” in Active Release Technique, a Selective Functional Movement Assessment provider, and has received certifications in Fascial Movement Taping levels 1 and 2 from Rocktape. He has found in his 7 years of practice that a combination of soft tissue modalities, active rehabilitation, and chiropractic care offer a comprehensive and effective way to address and treat most musculoskeletal injuries.
Dr. Price currently lives in Lynnwood and in his spare time enjoys ice hockey, traveling, golfing, and CrossFit.
Dr. Michael Klein is originally from the small town of Stockbridge, Wisconsin. Having a passion for sports his entire life led him to experience, first- hand, the benefits of Chiropractic and exercise rehabilitation. As a teenager he suffered a back injury in football that led him to receive treatment from a local chiropractor and was blown away by the ease and efficiency of traditional conservative care. Having solidified his career choice, Dr. Klein attended university in Wisconsin where he earned a Bachelor of Science. He then opted for a change of scenery and pursued his Doctorate of Chiropractic in sunny San Jose, CA at Palmer College of Chiropractic West (PCCW). As a sports chiropractor, he specialized in the treatment and rehabilitation of day-to-day and sport-related injuries. Much of his experience is derived from direct experience during his time with the renown PCCW Sports Council. He was eventually elected President of said organization allowing him to reach out to a vast and diverse network of professional and recreational athletic organizations to the benefit of countless athletes.
Originally from Western New York, Dr. Enderby attended St. Bonaventure University with Human Movement Sciences with a minor in Biology. While there, she played D1 Softball. During her time at New York Chiropractic College she was a member in the Motion Palpation Club and Rehab to Performance clubs.Dr. Enderby is passionate in providing quality chiropractic care to her community members in effort to improve their quality of life and enhance their physical performance and function. She believes strongly in the utilization of soft tissue techniques and rehabilitation exercises to treat the body as a whole and maximize chiropractic care benefits. Growing up a multi-sport athlete, Dr. Hali spends most of her time being active with her not-so-active English Bulldog, Lila. When she’s not at the Mercer Island clinic you can find her kayaking or hiking.
Originally from Vancouver, BC, he attended Trinity Western University and the University of Calgary where he graduated with a degree in Human Kinetics with a focus in Kinesiology. After graduation, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic West, where his focus was in sports chiropractic and human movement. He is certified in ART, SFMA, RockTape, and has been instructed in other techniques such as Graston, TRX, as well as FAKTR to ensure optimal care with the most up to date and innovative techniques available. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, hiking , cycling or trail running, or anything else outdoors. You name the sport, he’ll join you! He is excited to be back in the Pacific Northwest to take advantage of all the area offers.

He truly enjoys each unique interaction and even more the chance to help his patients progress toward their personal and physical goals. Dr. Klein’s integrated approach to conservative chiropractic care, manipulation, advanced soft tissue, and functional exercise is tailored to each individual patient. He hopes to provide his patients an outlet to optimal health and ensure they have the tools to maintain that progress. In conjunction with his chiropractic education, Dr. Klein is also certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Rock Tape functional and performance kinesiology tape (FMT, PMT), United States American Weightlifting (USAW) Level 1 Sports Performance, and is also an experienced CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. In his spare time, Dr. Klein enjoys his family hobby of drag racing, as well as weekend hikes with his pitbull pups Castor and Pollux, and exploring the surrounding
areas and attractions that Washington has to offer.
